The largest and the most populour city of Pakistan,

With the development of its harbour it gradually grew into a large city and an important centre of trade and industry. Its selection as the capital of Pakistan in 1947 added to its importance and accelerated its growth and development. Though the seat of Government shifted to Islamabad, Karachi still remins the centre of commerce and industry.
When to go: Karachi is best during the months from mid-November to mid-February,when the daytime temperature is 15-20C (60-70F.in summer thetemperrature hover between 35-45C(100-115F). During the monsoon season in July and Augest, the city is very humid, though little rain falls.
